How it works

  • Getting Started

    If you are ready to start therapy the first step would be to request a 15 minute initial consultation (see contact form below). Our therapist will reach out to you to coordinate a time to meet by video. We use a video platform that is compliant with HIPAA law.
    You will receive a link to join via the email address you provide to us on the form below.

  • Initial Consultation

    During this appointment you may share experiences with past therapy or therapists, share briefly what is bringing you to therapy so that your therapist can speak to whether they have the expertise to help you with that specific concern, ask questions and coordinate a time for future weekly meetings should you wish to proceed.

  • First Appointment

    Your first appointment will be an assessment appointment. This may take up to two appointments. You can expect your therapist to ask you questions about your life, obtain a history and understand more about you as well as your presenting challenges. At the end of this process we collaborate on our focus then begin therapy. If a recommendation is warranted for other services or a higher level of care your therapist will discuss this with you.

Your therapy experience is our priority. If you have complaints about your therapist the best person to talk with would be your therapist. it is not personal, we want to hear from you.
