"This letter serves as my recommendation and endorsement of Saad Haye as a mental health therapist who is well suited for any therapeutic position. Saad was an intern in the mental health programs at Mirmont Outpatient Center in Broomall, PA from September 2018 through May 2019. He facilitated many group therapy sessions in our Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, and the Dialectical Behavior Therapy group. Saad also had the opportunity to observe individual therapy sessions, family therapy sessions, crisis management, and admissions intakes.
As a therapist, Saad is empathic and gifted in helping individuals to be comfortable enough to engage in group therapy as well as treatment in general. He has creative ideas for group topics and activities, and is able to work with adult and adolescent populations. Saad is very enthusiastic about the mental health field and eager to work as I often found him sitting in and observing groups he was not even expected to attend.
Saad possess many wonderful qualities as both a professional and as a person. He has a sense of humor that makes everyone laugh and enjoy being in his presence. He is attentive to detail and able to manage situations that are often rapidly changing in the Partial Hospitalization level of care.
I highly recommend Saad for any mental health position he seeks and look forward to seeing him grow as a professional. "

"I am writing to express my sincere and strong recommendation for Saad Haye as a mental health therapist. Saad has worked as an intern with Mirmont since September 2018 and over my 3 years here he stands out as the most reliable and talented intern with whom I have worked.
I am the program therapist for Mirmont Outpatient's Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). When Saad began observing my IOP groups, I did not expect to gain so much from working with him over the past few months. Saad will observe what my patients are struggling with and research how best to intervene therapeutically. He is eager to learn and develop into an effective therapist. His passion has brought a new energy into my program. His questions about my patients and interventions demonstrate his natural ability to think critically with compassion. Saad quickly moved on from observing my IOP to collaborating with me.
When Saad first asked to observe my group he mentioned that "adolescents make me nervous, so I think I need to face that discomfort." He felt uncomfortable for the first few sessions but wanted to stick with it, seeking to use this challenge as a time to learn and grow, which he did indeed. Many therapists are uninterested in working with adolescents due to feeling discomfort around them. Saad felt that discomfort strongly, yet he worked through it so that now even my most oppositional and defiant patients have great respect for Saad as a therapist.
Saad has learned the art of being congruent with adolescent patients while maintaining firm boundaries. He blends his natural ability to connect with others and his passion for learning about current research, bringing relevant and effective interventions to group. He has been learning to trust his intuition in the moment and is becoming more confident each week.
I can rely on Saad to run the IOP group if I need to get treatment plans signed or attend a staff meeting. At least twice a week, Saad presents psychological education for my patients, which they take seriously and often put to use.
Saad is always open to feedback and strives to be introspective. I believe these attributes are critical for becoming an effective therapist."
