Khawaja Saad Haye (call him Saad) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the State of California, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and State of Delaware.
He is a Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP II) and has been a practicing therapist for over 5 years.
Education
Saad completed his Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from University of Pennsylvania,
and Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Marketing from London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.

Saad is a Trauma & PTSD Specialist. He has helped clients who experienced trauma from childhood, sexual assaults, war, and racial trauma. He also works with client's challenged by: Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Sex, Relationships and Adjustment to Life or Cultural Transitions. Saad also works with people who want to build skills such as: Assertiveness, Healthy Coping and helps people manage challenges from juggling demands of multiple life roles.

Saad helps client's understand their visceral reactions and will support them in the moment to attend to themselves in an effective manner. It is not uncommon for Saad to point out physical shifts in sessions to help the client make important connections between mind and body. He is attentive to opportunities where he can help client's understand themselves emotionally. People who work with him can expect to feel confident and comfortable to assert themselves. His therapeutic style is direct and challenging.
Saad uses caring confrontation to help clients become aware of themselves with respect to the client's inner experience.
He also likes to use humor (when appropriate) to connect with his clients and facilitate relaxation and comfort in the therapy space. His goal is to understand root causes of behavior then work with the client to process and/or rewire for desired outcome.

Experience & Clinical Trainings
Prior to working in private practice, Saad was a Behavioral Health Therapist at Main Line Health's Mirmont Treatment Center- an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospital Program in Philadelphia, PA. He has worked with clients who have acute mental health disorders and is experienced in facilitating group therapy with adults and adolescents. Saad led DBT groups, process groups and substance abuse groups. He also trained with higher education students at UPenn Student Affairs and with adolescents in an emotional support program at an urban school in Philadelphia, PA.
Several years ago, Saad made a career shift from management in the financial industry to become a mental health therapist. He understands workplace and corporate environments very well and the stressors prevalent in various industries.
About Saad
Saad immigrated to USA from Pakistan in 2012. Therefore, he understands firsthand adjustments and challenges that accompany such life transitions. He was also an international student in London and lived there for four years.
Outside of Therapy
Saad enjoys a good kettlebell workout, playing soccer and spending time with his toddler. He also loves to watch documentaries and is an avid learner in the areas of history and war. Saad has recently taken up a new hobby with woodwork and enjoys creating things.
