Classical Yoga for Emotional Balance

For people who have been suffering with anxiety, depression, or emotional imbalances for a long time, it may feel impossible to imagine a life without these emotional challenges. However, neuroscientists have now discovered that we can change the wiring of our brain and build new neural pathways when we practice a skill or technique consistently, or repeatedly. This concept is known as neuroplasticity. Our emotional patterns are capable of change. Both, mind and bodies are connected and react to emotions. While the mind speaks verbally, the body speaks nonverbally. Its language is pain or uncomfortable sensations. Classical yoga targets this interconnection using a combination of breath, meditation, postures, and awareness.
