Sahar is a Trauma, Anxiety and Wellness Specialist. She works with clients who experienced trauma from childhood, sexual assaults, war and racial trauma. She also works with client's challenged by: Anxiety and Depression. or client's who are experiencing challenges in the area of Relationships. She also works with people who want to build a healthy relationship with food, themselves or who need help with managing their stress or making desired changes in their life.
Sahar takes an eastern-western approach to therapy facilitating a connection between intuitions, inner wisdom, and knowledge. Her trainings in holistic health and complementary medicine have helped her clients avoid medication as their first course of intervention and manage symptoms naturally. Where medications are warranted, she encourages, educates and helps her clients become participants in their care.
Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative and compassionate. She wants her clients to feel comfortable to share openly, feel heard, and explore without the fear of being judged. She helps her clients find and strengthen their voice.

Experience & Clinical Trainings
Sahar has acquired specialty trainings in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy from Behavior Tech, A Linehan Institute, Behavior Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy. She also has specialty trainings with Domestic Violence, Hospice Care and Neurodiversity- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Austim Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Intellectual Developmental Delay (IDD).
Sahar was a Group Facilitator for a non-profit organization called SpeakUp, where she helped adolescents and the adults in their lives communicate effectively on controversial topics such as: drugs & alcohol, stress & mental health, sex & relationships, pressure & expectations, race, diversity & inclusion.
Sahar conducted a "Preventing Stress & Teacher Burnout Workshop" with Dr. Marsha Richardson for school teachers in the district of Philadelphia which was organized by Philadelphia Education Fund.
She also worked as a Behavior Specialist Consultant for children and adolescents receiving wraparound services and with families as a Mental Health Specialist Consultant. Additionally she worked with adolescents who received Advanced Clinical Services for school refusal and truancy concerns.
Sahar has trained in both urban, suburban as well as private and public school systems in Philadelphia. During her training years she was at Devereux's Residential Treatment Center. She also trained at Kingdom Recovery helping people challenged with addictions. Prior to that she volunteered as a Domestic Violence Counselor, Son-Rise Program Volunteer (for children with Autism) and with patients in Hospice Care as well as those who had Dementia.
She has experience of working with various populations with different challenges and mental health disorders across the developmental lifespan.

Sahar was born in San Francisco and raised in Pakistan. She lived in London then moved to Philadelphia where she spent 12 years before circling back to San Francisco in 2022. She enjoys going to the gym, being in nature, yoga and spending time with her friends & family. She also loves to learn new things, be creative and read. Sahar enjoys writing, organizing, creating systems and hosting.
