Our Belief
People can Live Better and improve their life experiences in spite of their circumstances. We have hope for everyone we work with and witness them grow and change as we begin to work together. This is the first step in therapy, being hopeful for something better and working with a professional who believes in your capability to Live Better.
Therapy At Live Better
At Live Better we are committed to providing quality therapy and comprehensive care to our clients.
We value a strong therapeutic relationship with each person we work with and recognize that each person is unique.
Our sessions do not follow a standard structure as we recognize that therapy is a process and every client comes to us at different stages. We will meet you where you are and help you grow from there. You can expect your therapy to be collaborative and interactive. We encourage open communication and work to create a space that is free of judgment where you can feel comfortable to openly question and explore.
Therapy works if you work it.
Research has consistently shown that engaging in a therapeutic relationship even for a limited amount of time will show profound changes in how people interact with their environment or with other people. Attitudes and behaviors improve. Some outcomes include recovering quickly from stressful situations, experiencing emotional states less intensely, increased self awareness and control. Other benefits involve being less defensive and more adaptive to meet situations effectively. Therapy may help you balance mood, manage stress, improve self-esteem, make desired changes, diminish self-doubt, improve interpersonal relationships, feel more connected etc. The uncomfortable parts about therapy are that you have to go through it. Sometimes revisiting aspects of your life may not feel so good. If you stick with the process, prioritize your weekly appointments, the outcomes are worth the effort and investment.

Long-term Relationship, Short-term Therapy
We are here to support you throughout your life as you may need us. Just like we need doctors to go to when we have physical needs, we need therapists to go to when we have mental health needs. Consider us apart of your health care team.
We are here to help you take care of you.
When client's establish a therapeutic relationship with us, they benefit from continuity when they come back to us in other stages of their lives. Sometimes our client's return for a single session as needed while other's come back to us with a new life challenge.
You can expect to begin with weekly sessions and then when it makes sense to reduce we will talk about moving to a bi-weekly cadence then end, or move to an as needed basis.
